Local Community in Witney

Stepping Stones Day Nursery and Nursery School is situated in a purpose built site of just over half an acre, including a large, well equipped outside play area boasting an adventure playground, mud kitchen and sound garden, climbing frames, sand and water area, cars, bicycles and lots more. We are registered with OFSTED and can cater for 73 children from 0-12 years old. There is easy parking, dropping off and picking up and no industrial estate environment. We are open 7.30 - 6pm, although can accommodate 7am - 6.30pm by arrangement. We offer all year wraparound childcare, with a before and after school club including drop off and pick ups at local schools (and some not so local!) Our staff are friendly, caring and passionate about childcare. We have a 'settling in without tears' process and a well established and effective key person system meaning your child will feel safe and cared for. We can visit you and your child at your home before settling in sessions so your child can meet their nursery teacher in familiar surroundings. Parental input is actively encouraged and children's interests and developmental stage are used for effective individual planning, making sure the children progress throughout Stepping Stones. We also provide you with written information concerning your child's next steps and activity ideas so you can continue the learning at home. We offer the 15 hours funding for both 3 and 2 year olds and can be flexible with sessions if required and available. Stepping Stones is registered with the Early Years Development and Childcare Partnership and contributes to the Partnership̢
